About InvAmp
InvAmp is an add-in for Autodesk Inventor by TT Engineering. It collects the everyday jobs around parts, assemblies, sheet metal and drawings into one dockable panel.
Use it to:
- Read and edit the iProperties of whatever is selected, with a preview.
- Place, isolate and mirror components, and check an assembly before it goes to the shop.
- Rename a part together with its drawing.
- Reuse components and sketch blocks from your own libraries.
- Export a whole assembly in one run: STEP, PDF, DXF and DWG, nesting drawings and a manufacturing pack.
- Build a bill of materials and send it to Excel.
- Run a design report on an assembly and save it as a PDF.

Where InvAmp keeps its data
InvAmp writes its settings to %APPDATA%\InvAmp\settings.ini. It writes a log of failures to %APPDATA%\InvAmp\log. Files it produces, such as exports and drawings, go to folders you choose.
Note:InvAmp sends nothing over the network. The one exception is the optional Google Sheets export of a bill of materials, which works only after you enter your own Google credentials. See Settings.
