What it does

Every screen below is the add-in itself, captured inside Inventor.

A dimensioned drawing in one click

Select a part and press Create drawing. InvAmp reads what the part is and lays the sheet out to match.

  • Sheet metal, plate, turned shaft or assembly: each gets its own layout
  • Views, sections and dimensions kept inside the frame and clear of the title block
  • Your own drawing template; the drawing is saved beside the part

Rename a part and its drawing together

Give a part a new name and its drawing follows: renamed too, and its views pointed at the renamed part.

  • Numbered naming groups, so a number is never used twice
  • The old files stay on disk; nothing is lost
  • Rename all, or a copy with its drawing swapped into the assembly in place

Bill of materials to Excel, with pictures

Collect the assembly's BOM, search it, and export a workbook with a preview of every part.

  • Quantities, masses and totals, sub-assemblies included
  • Choose and order the columns yourself
  • Writes .xlsx itself — no add-ons needed

Check an assembly before it goes out

Six checks over the whole assembly, each with a report and the parts concerned isolated on screen.

Getting started

DownloadDownload InvAmp-Setup.exe. No form: the setup starts the 15-day trial when it runs.
InstallClose Inventor and run InvAmp-Setup. It finds every Inventor on the computer.
WorkOpen Inventor: Tools tab › InvAmp shows the panel.

Licence

InvAmp is licensed per month or per year, one computer per licence. Try it first: the 15-day trial has every feature.
